O3Spaces B.V. is a young organization built around an experienced team of software engineers. We built O3Spaces Workplace with the belief that it was time for a new breed of document management solution, based on a flexible modern architecture and current technology. At O3Spaces we aim to deliver high value out-of-the-box solutions. We emphasize compatibility with today’s diverse desktop and application environments. The O3Spaces software is built with open technology and runs on Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. We also integrate with 3rd party applications, either acting as a secure central repository, or providing “mash-ups” via web services or embedded in our AJAX web browser environment.

O3Spaces delivers its state-of-the-art document management solutions to customers around the world. Our customers can be found in a broad range of industries, from Government, Healthcare, Education to SMB´s and Industry.

For some customers O3Spaces Workplace facilitates collaborative work and provides uniform document generation. For others it is instrumental in creating digital archives, managing contracts and automating processes. And some argue that O3Spaces is a flexible and cost effective 'sharepoint' for all. In any case O3Spaces provides an unrivaled ability to support document processes and office collaboration across platforms and office suites.

“The idea for O3Spaces was born in 2005”, says O3Spaces CEO Dr. Rob Mentink. “At the time the necessity for open standards and the open document formats was gaining broader attention and we noticed that at that time no enterprise grade cross-platform and cross-office suite collaboration and document management functionality was available. The relevance of these functions as part of an office suite is clearly demonstrated by the current market leader in the office productivity arena.”

O3Spaces has taken a well plotted course in developing its product. “In the fall of 2005 we approached different international industry professionals and presented our proof-of-concept as a validation of our development roadmap. With our confidence levels up, we then presented our first release to the public in the fall of 2006.” O3Spaces has since seen fast worldwide adoption and an impressive customer base. ”Over the past years we've closely monitored customer feedback and suggestions. With this in mind we've steadily developed new features and extensions that enable O3Spaces to provide compelling solutions that are easily tailored to address the particular needs of organizations within specific verticals.
